Each time I come to the point of re-working and issuing a welcome pack/packet I feel a bit, well, odd. What is it about the term “welcome pack” that’s, well, a bit … annoying? Sexual? Pollyanna? Packaged? What’s the most authentic/ genuine way to create the eventfulness of a welcome packet without the sense of package?
some answers that come to me (add your own)
- put it on the web as a series of pages they can choose from and give ME
- give it to them as the “Beta testing version” or beta version … asking for their collaboration in making it the perfect document for them.
- conduct it as a session together in OST format. “Issues and Opportunities as We Set Upon Our Coaching Relationship”
