The Buddha(s) game

Here’s a buddha game I sometimes play? It’s a mind/awareness game — especially good when I’m starting to feel that someone(s) in the world is getting me down.

It proceeds thusly:

* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *
Imagine that every sentient being (and non-sentient, if you wish to play by master game rules)  is already a buddha.

That is all but one — you.

Every action of every buddha is done with one and only one intent —  to move you closer to buddhahood.
* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *

Just that.

Then I go around re-framing … seeing the gifts of awareness or compassion or, whatever. Focused with this prior-interpretation, my special “growth gifts” are everywhere, literally.  Then the game is to locate them scattered about throughout my day, in such a variety of ways.
